A Warning: Wrong Prescription & A Customer Service Black Hole 🕳️


I’m writing this as a warning about my terrible online shopping experience. I felt I had to share this so others could be cautious. My ordeal began when they sent me the wrong prescription safety glasses, causing dizziness and nausea. It’s been Impossible to get ahold of a live person to actually help get this resolved. Multiple chat sessions, phone calls and emails and still can’t get in touch with anyone. The physical discomfort and the complete lack of support forced me to persistently try to contact them, which is why I’m sharing the conversation I finally had after days of trying.

Customer: Finally, a real person. You sent me the wrong prescription safety glasses and they're making me physically sick. I've been trying to reach someone for days!

CS Rep: I am so terribly sorry to hear that, and I deeply apologize for the difficulty you've had contacting us. That is not the standard of service we aim for. Could you please provide your order number so I can fix this immediately?

Customer: The order number is ZT58392. This is a safety issue. I can't wear these glasses without getting dizzy. I need this resolved now.

CS Rep: Thank you, I have your order. I see the mistake and I am so sorry. We will immediately process a new order with the correct prescription and expedite the shipping at no cost to you. I'm also emailing you a prepaid label to return the incorrect pair.

Customer: Fine. How long will this expedited order take? I've already wasted enough time and I need these for work.

CS Rep: I am placing the rush on it personally. You can expect it to ship within 48 hours, and you'll receive a tracking number. Again, I sincerely apologize for our error and the frustration we've caused.

The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
